Worst app ever

Constantly asking for a restart, even after a restart! Microsoft bites.

What ever happened to the good ol’ days where you could just purchase a program and that was it. I love the app, but I only want it for Excel and the subscription is just ridiculous. Everyone has to get all their nickels and dimes. Sorry Microsoft, you are rich enough. I’ll pass.

I like how easy it is to use on my iPad.

Dificult to write, apply formulas

I cannot get the iPhone version of excel 365 to run VBA Macros.

Excel will always be the best program for spreadsheets. It has great support and really does so much more than you will ever need.

They don’t have to upload/download speed to prevent frequent mismatches between saves on different devices. I can’t see the keyboard or the tabs I want, and the app keeps making me sign back into my account frequently

It retains none of the useful functions of excel. If you want to just look at a spread sheet it’s fine, but if you want any Macros to work it’s pointless.

Excel Files stopped working and won’t let me open them, causing me to lose all the data in my files. Frustrating experience—needs better stability!

I purchased Microsoft 365 and I am unable to open any of my dropbox files with Excel. Very sad (and disgusting).

For the past week I have not been able to open any of my Excel files and there has been no explanation. I use this for work and it has greatly impacted my workflow

Why this HAS to be a subscription based program is beyond me! The mobile version (only option on tablet) is far inferior to the desktop version. Should be free.

I refuse to pay a subscription to an app/program I have previously paid for. There are other apps that will do what I need.

Microsoft 365 does not integrate with Apple. Always says I don't have subscription. I do. This is inexcusable in 2025.

this app is only good for taking up space. I would never even consider using this if I didn’t have to try to figure out how to waste my time doing a homework assignment where I have to use this app for some reason it doesn’t do anything that is considered useful whatsoever granted I am using it on an iPad, but I do not see why that changes anything. Why is this app completely useless on an iPad.

Prompting me to review the app while I’m trying to sign in will always result in 1 star for wasting my time.

App shows my account and signed in but if I try to do anything with share button or save or printing document, it pops up with sign in screen, which does not work. Reinstalled. Nothing fixes this for me. Word doing same things.

If you move into the Belvedere, I will get 1000 bucks and give you 500 and we’ll both come up

When I turn off autoSave option and close the app from the background, the option is not saved when I open the file again.

Look I love excel but why do I get a question if I want to review it or not at the second? I launch it the first time? Can you guys relate to that? Dear Microsoft? Please fix that.

Excel for Anything

Every now and then, this app (as wells as Word and PowerPoint), asks to sign in, even when already signed in, and will not let any other attempt to sign in. Most of the time the issue corrects after many attempts, but this issue that has been happening for a long time, makes this app not trustworthy for presentations or important meetings when the app needs to work properly at the moment.

I just spent 3 minutes logging in on iPad Excel App (which I shouldn’t have to keep logging in) because Excel makes you log in EVERY TIME. Then, it says I have to LOG IN AGAIN. With the Authenticator AGAIN. Did I say AGAIN? Can I get any work done here? NO. I’ll wait until I go home and on my laptop. Or just get on over to Google Sheets. Geez.

Be warned. Absolutely not trustworthy to maintain files on OneDrive. Loses sync. Fails to save. False “file open” messages. Unable/unwilling to overwrite for sync problems created by Excel/OneDrive. Eternal question: why can’t Microsoft products ever play well together? (Asked by user of 40+ years)

IT DELETED ALL MY WORK TWICE!!!!!!!!! I HAD TO REDO ALL THE WORK THAT I HAD PREVIOUSLY DONE THE PAST WEEK. TO MAKE IT WORSE IT WAS A SCHOOL ASSIGNMENT SO IT HAD A DEADLINE THAT I FAILED TO DO IT BY BECAUSE IT DELETED ALL MY WORK!!!!!ALL MY 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 WORK IS GONE!!!!

Bad customer service and can’t log in as system say it’s not working try later! Garbage.

I love the Microsoft products, but they don’t have the same functionality on the iPad. I am disappointed enough to ALMOST quit using it.

I am continuously frustrated across my devices in the blatant bias of Microsoft to push using their cloud storage over other systems. I work with many companies and clients that have their own preferences. The extra work I have to do in order to find recent documents that are not in One Drive takes a lot of my time each day. Wake up, there is more than One Drive! Sometimes data is stored locally, in another cloud, or on another device connected to another cloud. The experience with Office 365 is not seamless across storage systems. And the answer is not just tell the world to use One Drive.

Update 2.95 affected my formulas and conditional formatting. It does not want to load or calculate properly.

Ugh. Quit hassling me with logging in, and re-logging in ad nauseum.

Love it Graph spreadsheet and like make home Home Budget is fun on Excel love to learn new things

It looks like time has been taken to try to cram AI into every product and that time has been taken away from product stability. Crashes every time I exit a spreadsheet now. It doesn’t make any sense.
